Presenoldeb:
Yn YGG Calon y Cymoedd rydym yn ymdrechu i sicrhau bod ein disgyblion yn cael yr addysg orau bosibl. I wneud hyn mae angen eich help arnom! Mae presenoldeb rheolaidd yn hanfodol ar gyfer llwyddiant academaidd, datblygiad personol ac integreiddio cymdeithasol. Mae astudiaethau wedi dangos cydberthynas uniongyrchol rhwng presenoldeb uchel a lefelau cyrhaeddiad uchel ar draws pob cam allweddol. Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn nodi bod cynnal presenoldeb uchel yn hanfodol i wella safonau addysgol a chanlyniadau a lles disgyblion.Beth yw Presenoldeb Da?Yng Nghymru diffinnir presenoldeb da mewn ysgolion cynradd yn gyffredinol fel disgyblion yn mynychu 95% neu fwy o sesiynau ysgol. Mae hyn yn cyfateb i golli dim mwy na 10 diwrnod ysgol dros flwyddyn academaidd.Beth yw manteision presenoldeb rheolaidd yn yr ysgol?
Absenoldebau Awdurdodedig:
Deallwn y bydd adegau pan na all plant fynychu’r ysgol, er enghraifft:
Er bod y rhain yn cael eu hystyried yn absennoldeb awdurdodedig, rhaid i rieni/gwarcheidwaid gysylltu â’r ysgol i roi gwybod am reswm yr absenoldebAbsenoldebau Heb Eu Hawdurdodi:
Mae absenoldeb heb ei awdurdodi yn cyfeirio at achlysur pan nad yw rheswm dros yr absenoldeb wedi’i ddarparu, neu pan ystyrir nad yw’r absenoldeb yn un dilys.Gwyliau yn ystod Tymor yr Ysgol:
Anogir rhieni i beidio â threfnu gwyliau yn ystod tymor yr ysgol oherwydd eu heffaith bosibl ar addysg y plentyn. Fodd bynnag, caiff pob cais ei ystyried yn unigol gan edrych ar nifer o ffactorau. Y Pennaeth fydd yn gwneud y penderfyniad hyn. Rhaid i rieni wneud cais ymlaen llaw drwy gwblhau'r Ffurflen Cais am Wyliau yn ystod Tymor yr Ysgol. Os bydd plentyn yn cael ei gymryd allan o’r ysgol heb ganiatâd ymlaen llaw gan y Pennaeth, caiff yr absenoldeb ei gofnodi fel un heb ei awdurdodi.
Hysbysiadau Cosb Benodedig:
Gellir ystyried y rhain yn briodol pan:
Llythyrau 'Mynychu i Lwyddo':
Byddwch yn derbyn gwybodaeth am fynychu eich plentyn yn yr adroddiadau interim ac yn yr adroddiad diwedd blwyddyn. Yn ogystal â hyn, byddwch yn derbyn llythyrau 'Mynychu i Lwyddo' dair gwaith y flwyddyn. Byddant hefyd yn cynnwys gwybodaeth am fras amcangyfrif o'r diwrnodau/sesiynau a fethwyd.

Holidays in Term Time:
Holidays in term time are discouraged due to the potential negative impact on their education however every request will be considered individually looking at a variety of factors. This will be at the discretion of the Headteacher. Parents must apply in advance by completing the ‘Holiday in Term Time Request Form’.
